A Gesture of Love for Papua’s Future

Led by Captain Inf Galih Widiharyo Nugroho, the soldiers personally distributed 150 school bags filled with essential school supplies to students of St. Aloysius Mumugu 2 Elementary School and Santa Theresia Kindergarten. The innocent smiles and sparkling eyes of the children, filled with joy and gratitude, painted an unforgettable scene.

Yet, the mission was not just for the students. In recognition of their tireless dedication, the teachers and nurses, who serve as pillars of education in these remote areas, received basic food assistance as a token of appreciation for their unwavering commitment.

"The children are so happy to receive new bags. They are now even more excited to come to school. Thank you for this kindness, gentlemen. We truly hope this initiative continues and inspires many more, " expressed one of the teachers.

A Mission Beyond Duty

This initiative reflects the true spirit of TNI, proving that their role goes beyond security—it extends into acts of kindness and community empowerment. Major General TNI Lucky Avianto, Commander of Koops Habema, emphasized the deeper purpose behind this mission.

"This activity is not just about distributing aid, but about creating a bond of love and care that we hope will flourish in the land of Papua. The Task Force Yonif 503/Mayangkara has shown that behind their duty to guard the borders lies a heart full of compassion and dedication to the people."

Through actions like these, the TNI continues to uphold its mission of protecting, empowering, and building a better future for Papua.
