PAPUA - Amid the chilly mountains and the challenging duty of securing Wuloni Village in Ilaga District, Puncak Regency, the Yonif 700/Wyc Border Security Task Force has proven that their mission goes beyond keeping borders safe. On Tuesday 18, 2025, under the leadership of Second Lieutenant Inf Arya, these soldiers showed the warmth of their hearts as they extended a helping hand to the village residents.

Taking time off from their routine duties, the soldiers shared essential supplies with the villagers, including not just basic necessities but also clothes to keep them warm and Bibles to nurture their spirits.

Despite their tough exterior and military uniforms, the soldiers’ hearts are filled with empathy and care. For them, the mission is not just about protecting the nation’s borders but also about looking out for their fellow countrymen who are in need. The smiles from children, the appreciative gazes of mothers, and the firm handshakes from village elders stand as testimony to how their efforts bring hope and joy to the local community.

"We are not only guarding the borders, but also guarding the hearts of the people, " said Second Lieutenant Inf Arya, his voice filled with emotion. "Seeing their smiles is the greatest happiness for us."

Meanwhile, Pangkoops Habema, Major General TNI Lucky Avianto, expressed his admiration for the task force's dedication. He emphasized that their presence in Wuloni Village is more than just providing material support it's a symbol of unity and brotherhood.
