MIMIKA - The Mimika Regency Regional Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimda) held a high-level coordination meeting at the Mimika Regency Government Headquarters, Kuala Kencana District, Central Papua. The meeting, which ran from 10:06 to 12:15 WIT, focused on ensuring the successful implementation of government programs, development initiatives, and community empowerment in the region. The meeting was led by Acting Regent of Mimika, Yonathan Demme Tangdilintih, and attended by 25 distinguished guests representing key regional leadership elements. One of the event’s highlights was the presence of Major General Lucky Avianto, Commander of the TNI Habema Operations Command, who delivered a compelling presentation on national insight and the President-Vice President’s Asta Cita vision.
Strengthening National Resilience in the Face of Global Challenges
During his presentation, Major General Lucky Avianto emphasized the importance of fortifying Indonesia’s national ideology, particularly Pancasila, democracy, and human rights (HAM). He also underscored the necessity of achieving self-sufficiency in food, energy, and water to strengthen national independence.
"We must safeguard Indonesia’s resources so that they are not exploited by foreign interests. Additionally, rapid technological advancements have made it easier for misinformation to spread, potentially igniting conflicts. That’s why national unity is crucial to maintaining resilience, " he stated.
Acting Regent Yonathan Demme Tangdilintih praised the presentation, acknowledging its critical importance in shaping regional governance and public awareness.
"What Major General Lucky Avianto conveyed was truly inspiring. I hope we can absorb these insights and pass them on to future generations to build a stronger Indonesia, " he said.

Following the presentation, the meeting transitioned into a discussion session, where regional officials exchanged views on development and governance strategies. Several leaders provided valuable input to enhance institutional coordination in tackling regional challenges.
