YAHUKIMO - Amidst their duty to maintain security, the Task Force Yonif 6 Mar Koops Habema carried out a heartwarming act of kindness. While patrolling Yahukimo Regency, the Marines took the time to share joy with local children, not just through smiles, but by distributing books and school supplies on Friday, March 7, 2025.
This initiative goes beyond a simple social activity. The Marine soldiers aim to inspire a love for learning and open a new window of knowledge for the children of Yahukimo. With books and stationery in their hands, these young minds are encouraged to dream big and work towards a brighter future.
"Education is the key to progress. We want the children of Yahukimo to have the same opportunities to learn and grow, " said a member of the Marine Task Force.
The local community enthusiastically welcomed this initiative. Parents and children gathered with excitement, their faces beaming with joy as they received the educational assistance. The smiles of these children reflected a newfound hope and the promise of a better tomorrow.
This meaningful effort by the Marine Task Force proves that the TNI is not only a guardian of national sovereignty but also a true companion to the people. They are present not just with strength, but with compassion, making real contributions to the nation's progress, particularly in remote areas like Yahukimo.
Pangkoops Habema, Maj. Gen. TNI Lucky Avianto, emphasized that this activity by the Marine Task Force is a testament to the TNI’s commitment to supporting national development, especially in education.
"Hopefully, this action will inspire all of us to keep sharing and caring for others, particularly in advancing the education of Indonesian children, " he stated.
Through this simple yet impactful initiative, the Marine Task Force proves that education is a shared responsibility and that every child, no matter where they live, deserves a chance to learn and grow.
